Viva Oranje
The Dutch take on the Uruguans tonight in Cape Town. The fan walk is bustling. Everywhere I look I see orange cloaks, hairdos and faces. I want to see this team take these guys on – the Uruguans may be heroes at home but here in this ex-Dutch colony (Cape Province, Kaapstad) the Dutch are getting so much support that we can’t see the South American colours anywhere. Do these colours actually exist? I don’t want to see extra-time or penalty shootout. The Dutch must beat them fair and square. No hands on the ball or unnecessary penalties or stomping.
